La Plantation Resort & Spa - Pamplemousses

Centrally located amid expansive tropical greenery and bordered by a lagoon and a brook, the La Plantation Resort and Spa is a good base for enjoying holidays in Pamplemousses. It is ideally located for excursions to Pamplemousses Botanical Garden or to the capital of the island, Port Louis. Attractions like Chamarel, The Eureka, Trou aux Cerfs, and Domaine Les Pailles are a short drive, and car rental can be arranged in the resort. Live entertainment is provided on site. Three restaurants are located on-site. Guests on half board are welcomed for dinner at the main restaurant located pool side with a themed evening each night. Buffet breakfast is also served here. A second restaurant is located on the beach and is open for lunch and dinner and specialises in grills and seafood. Lastly, a gourmet restaurant is also available for dinner and offers private dining islets scattered around the pool. Half board guests choosing to dine at the a la carte restaraurants receive a credit towards the total cost.

The open-air lobby is large and impressive with dark wood furnishings and water features. A large staircase leads down to the rest of the resort.

270 rooms are situated over eight acres of land in low-rise buildings with hints of French colonial architecture. The 1000 square metre pool and 4000 square metres of ponds are a focal point of the resort, as well as the white sands beach on which the resort is located.
