Le Diamant is situated on the southern coast of Martinique, a Caribbean island which is a department of France. It is one of the most popular locations to stay in Martinique because of its stunning beaches of clear blue water and white sand, and its close proximity to one of the island's most famous landmarks, Diamond Rock, from which Le Diamant received its name. The nearby island of St Lucia can also be seen from the district.
