If you are travelling independently, getting to St Julians is still simple from the airport in either a shuttle bus or taxi. Other options include catching a boat from Sicily or Gozo and then catching a bus or taxi.
By ferry: although St Julian’s is well-known for its large number of sea-faring vessels, getting here by boat is neither convenient nor cost-effective. If you’ve already touched down in Malta and have then headed to Gozo, then a boat is the only way back to the main island. Ferries cross between Sicily and Valletta, just a short overland trip from St Julian’s, but the journey takes four hours in a slow boat.
