Gozo Travel Guide - Getting There

Flying here is currently not possible and plans to build an airport are unlikely to succeed given the stiff opposition any such project would inevitably have to face.

By air: the only way to fly to Gozo is to touch down at Malta’s busy international airport and then catch a boat over to the island. A seaplane service is available to and from Mgarr harbour and the mainland’s Grand harbour. A helipad at Luqa also runs flights to Malta proper.
