Gozo Travel Guide - Activities
Diving and snorkelling on Gozo are both superb whether you’re a bona fide diver or just a part-time snorkel enthusiast. Walking is also a favourite pastime, courtesy of the excellent climate which remains mostly warm throughout the year.
Hiking: with its warm climate, flat landscape and lack of any large settlements, little Gozo is a walker’s paradise. Public transport here is minimal anyway so walking is often the most convenient way to get around the island.
Sightseeing: as an important part of the Roman Catholic world, Gozo is home to a number of impressive ecclesiastical structures, including St George’s Basilica close to the old citadel in Rabat, which is also worth a visit. Natural wonders like the Inland Sea and Fungus Rock are must-sees too.
