Introduction to Saint Julian’s - City Centre
Saint Julian's is a historic fishing village and contemporary seaside resort on the northern Maltese coast. It boasts excellent tourist infrastructure and a range of activities that cater to all age groups. There are plentiful Saint Julian's City Centre hotels here, both on the waterfront overlooking the pictorial harbour and the streets leading off it. There are a number of five-star establishments and self-catering apartments. The city centre has great eateries where local and seafood specialities can be sampled as well as gastronomy from Italy, China and India. Although the nearest beach is along the coast in Sliema, there are lots of swimming pools in the district and the opportunity to enjoy ice-skating and bowling. Boat cruises for scuba diving, snorkelling and game fishing can be booked in the city centre. Paceville is a short walk north of the centre and is renowned for the quality and variety of its nightlife venues.
