Getting There

Getting to Pangkor
By air: getting to the island by air is probably the fastest and most convenient way. Berjaya Airlines offer four flights per week from Kuala Lumpur to Pangkor Island. The flying time is approximately 40 minutes. Flights are also available from Ipoh. The aircrafts are small and the flight may be a little choppy at times.
By ferry: several ferry companies operate services to Pulau Pangkor from the jetty at Lumut. Usually there is a ferry leaving every 15 minutes for Pulau Pangkor and the trip take about 40 minutes. The Mesra ferries are the more reputable operators and their ferries are in good condition and the trip is quite enjoyable with plenty of opportunities to take photos.
