Cosmo's World: is Malaysia's largest indoor theme park and ideal for families where kids can enjoy the numerous rides while mums and dads do some shopping. The theme park is actually located in the huge Berjaya Times Square shopping mall on the upper floors and has a section devoted just for young children and another part for older kids and adults - tickets allow for entry to both. The park’s crowning glory is the seven-storey white-knuckle roller coaster which is totally indoors.
Dewan Filharmonik Petronas: many visitors also like to enjoy the Dewan Filharmonik Petronas – the Malaysian Philharmonic Orchestra at the foot of the Petronas Twin Towers. The Malaysian Philharmonic Orchestra is highly regarded and has classical performances on weekends; Saturdays in the evenings and Sundays in the afternoons. Dress codes are pretty strict for gala and evening performances and labelled as ‘smart casual’ for other performances. Tickets will need to be booked way in advance and can be reserved online.
Rock Climbing: the famous Batu Caves also offer great climbing on steep limestone routes outside the caves. There are a variety of levels and difficulties and more than 100 bolted lines provide much choice for most types of climbers. The great thing about climbing over the Batu Caves is that they are very accessible from Kuala Lumpur city centre by road or public transport.
