Museum of Asian Arts: the Museum of Asian Arts is situated within the University of Malaya campus and features a huge collection of ceramics from all over the continent.

Museum of Military History: the Heeresgeschichtliches Museum is located in a beautiful 19th century building, not unlike those found within the Ringstrasse of Vienna during the Habsburg reign, and is one of the oldest museums in the city. Inside are exhibitions of various triumphs and defeats of Habsburg military history.

National Museum: covering history, arts and crafts of Malaysia, the National Museum has a surprising collection of intriguing items, including the so-called 'amok catcher' - used to pacify madmen - and daggers and musical instruments.

Royal Malaysian Armed Forces Museum: visitors can see weaponry, uniforms, pictures and paintings on display of Malaysia’s armed forces, while weapons seized from the communist terrorists are also on show.
