Lying in the oldest settled area of this eastern outpost of Malaysia, the Hillview Gardens Resort Sabah is a rural retreat offering a host of outdoor activities. It is a popular base for eco tours in the surrounding area, with the likes of the Orchid Conservation Centre and Tenom Agricultural Park nearby. Also within a short distance of Keningau, the local town, is a coffee producing facility and an ostrich farm, both of which welcome visitors. White water rafting on the Padas River is also popular.
