Casino Luxembourg: the Casino Bourgeois, which was built in the late 19th century, quickly became an important centre for social activity in Luxembourg. Around 50 years later, the Duchy purchased the building and let it out to the Cultural Circle of the European Union.
From that time it became known as ‘Foyer Europeen’, and functioned as a centre for cultural events through 1990. It was then that the Casino was turned into a gallery of contemporary art, featuring exhibitions of new artistic trends, and offering conferences - and also concerts of contemporary music.
Montee de Clausen. Open: 10:00 to 17:00 daily, From Mar to Oct.
