There are very few immediate risks to health with levels of serious disease kept to a minimum and chances of bacteria-related illness all but non existent due to stringent health and safety regulations in public places. Standards of health care are high in hospitals and at local clinics.

Visitors from most EU countries can benefit from reciprocal agreements and get free medical treatment provided they are in possession of the relevant documentation. All other visitors are advised to have adequate provision for health care in their travel insurance policies.
