Introduction to Liepaja, Latvia
Liepaja is one of the largest cities in Latvia and is the most prominent settlement in the Courland Region, an area renowned for its historical architecture and relaxing ambiance. The buildings are generally smaller than those in Latvia's biggest city, Riga, but still provide reputable services for guests. Many of the inner-Liepaja hotels are situated near the Tirdzniecibas Canal, just a few hundred metres from the Liepaja Rail Station.
