Getting Around

Tuk-tuks: can be found easily in the city and are good for getting to those parts of the city that are too far to be reached on foot. These noisy three-wheeled contraptions are certainly not the most comfortable means of transportation but will invariably get you to your destination in one piece and for a reasonable fee also.

Taxis: regular cabs can be found at a rank situated behind the Morning Market and also at the airport and the Friendship Bridge. They tend to be more expensive than tuk-tuks but are safer and offer more protection from the elements.
