The cool season (October to March) is the most popular time to take a trip to the city as temperatures are bearable and chances of rain are quite slim. Expect daily highs of up to 28°C while at night, temperatures can drop low enough to require a sweater or light jacket, especially in the more mountainous regions outside of the city.
The hot season follows and is appropriately named with daily highs reaching 35°C and high humidity. The season lasts from April to June and while plenty of travellers make visits during this period, the temperatures can be uncomfortable for many.
