Getting Around

Getting Around Luang Prabang
Tuk-tuks: are three wheeled vehicles with motorbike engines that are common throughout Asia. Luang Prabang has its fair share of these vehicles which can be flagged from the side of the road for trips around the city. Fares are not especially cheap and should be negotiated before embarking on the journey.
Jumbos: are converted pickups with a covered seating area in the back that can be hired exclusively or share with other passengers going to similar destinations. Fares for certain destinations are normally set while others are negotiable and should be agreed prior to commencing the journey.
