Introduction to Kuwait City - City Centre
Kuwait City is the capital of the small Middle Eastern country of Kuwait, which lies between Iraq and Saudi Arabia. This coastal city is filled with modern skyscrapers, museums and hidden historical architecture, and is known for its upmarket Kuwait City hotels and shopping centres. The city centre, which is directly on the coast, is the best place to stay when visiting. The most attractive area of the city is the beautiful seafront, which can be admired from the lofty Kuwait Towers. Other attractions in the city include the musical fountain and various family attractions, shopping centres and museums. The National Museum and the War Museum are among the most visited of the city’s museums, with the former housing a number of ancient relics and the latter exhibits relating to the Iraqi invasion. The most recommended offbeat attraction is the Fish Market, where all sorts of seafood is sold in a clean environment.Visit our Kuwait City Travel Guide
