The city centre can be reached in just over a 10 minutes, cheap taxi trip. The Le Meridien Hotel has a well designed lobby, a wonderful lobby bar, a good selection of restaurants, indoor and outdoor swimming pools, professionally run and managed spa, a modern gym and world class conference facilities. Rooms are attractive, nicely, comfortably furnished and offer marble, modern bathrooms, flat screen televisions and high speed internet access.

The large rooms are attractively decorated in varying, contrasting colours. Furniture is of a very good standard in dark wood. The elegant marble bathrooms are kept in excellent condition, as are the bedrooms.

The hotel has several restaurants, catering for a wide variety of tastes. The 'China town' restaurant also serves Japanese cuisine and is to be recommended.

The large lobby is decorated with grey streaked marble flooring and walls. The reception area is large and welcoming with plenty of comfortable casual seating. There is a raised seating area to the front, leading to a good selection of shops on the mezzanine floor. This is possibly the most attractive lobby in Amman.
