Tokyo Travel Guide

Weather

Weather in Tokyo
Spring in the Japanese capital is usually highly unsettled but later, very pleasant. By the end of March when the cherry blossoms begin to open, attracting huge crowds throughout the city, temperatures are usually well above 5°C and often more like 10°C or more. April and May are usually always warm and among the most pleasant months to visit the city.
By June the summer has started and things begin to really hot up as humidity increases significantly with increased rainfall. July, August and September are the hottest months of the year and often with high humidity, the latter being particularly wet.
