With its two international terminals – the first separated into two wings – the airport connects to every inhabited continent in the world with direct flights to Mexico City, Vancouver, London, Beijing, Cairo and Sydney, among many other destinations. Many of the airport’s flights are within Asia, with routes to China particularly frequent. Narita Airport also connects to some unexpected destinations such as Port Moresby in Papua New Guinea and Tashkent in Uzbekistan.
Terminal 1’s north wing is reserved for Star Team carriers such as Air France and KLM, while the south wing is occupied by Star Alliance airlines including All Nippon Airways and Lufthansa. Japan Airlines and JAL Express are among the carriers operating out of Terminal 2.

Transportation: the most convenient option for escaping Narita Airport is by train. The Narita Express is the quickest, taking about 1 hour into Tokyo station, but it is also very expensive. Cheaper train options include the Kaisoku Airport Narita service which takes about 1 hour, 30 minutes. The Skyliner service to Nippori and Keisei Ueno stations take about 1 hour. A much slower service with numerous stops costs about half the price between the same stations.
Parking: both terminals operate multi-storey car parks with a combined capacity of 2,300 cars. Fees start at 460 yen for the first hour which decreases thereafter per unit.
