Watazen Ryokan Hotel - Kyoto

It has been about 150 years since the ryokan was founded in Kyoto.This ryokan has a very classical Japanese style and offers special treatment with Japanese hospitality.

The rooms are Japanese style rooms only with private toilet and no beds. By day, the rooms are furnished with a low table and zabuton floor cushions on Japanese straw tatami mats. There is also a sitting area with two armchairs and a coffee table. By night, the room is transformed with Japanese futons into a sleeping area. All accommodation includes Japanese breakfast.

All meals are taken in the guest room.

The lobby is small in size but there is some sitting space.

The ryokan is a modern low-rise block building, and the main entrance has a Japanese design touch.
