Introduction to Tottori, Japan
Tottori is one of the most popular destinations in western Japan and is particularly popular for its sand dunes. Tourists often use Tottori hotels as bases for engaging in activities such as hang gliding, sand boarding and even bringing the Middle East to Japan by riding camels. Tourists coming from Tokyo can touch down at the local airport in less than 1 hour, 30 minutes. While the sand dunes are the most popular attractions, visitors also flock to the area to see the castle ruins just out of town as well as the Prefectural Museum and Jinpukaka Mansion. Hotels in Tottori can be picked up the whole year round but reservations are recommended to avoid disappointment. Any time you wish to leave the area, you can use public transport or a hire car to enjoy other parts of Japan such as Kyoto and Okayama. For outdoor lovers in particular, Tottori is famous for being surrounded by a series of iconic mountains.other spellings: tottorihotels, totori otel, totori hotell, totori hote, totori hotles
