Tokyu Inn Hotel Ueda - Nagano

People began living in what is now Ueda City as far back as the dawn of history and man itself. In several sites around Ueda, artifacts such as unglazed earthenware and clay figures thousands of years old have been unearthed. Valuable artifacts of the government, economy, and military bases, which occupied the area from the 7th century, hold significant cultural value and have been designated as National Treasures. In 1583 the most powerful clan in the area built Uedajo Castle, which became the center of industry, economy, and transportation that in effect made this town into a "Castle Town". Even today, this is the framework in which the city has grown.

The rooms are simply decorated and kept in good conditions. The bathroom is also kept in good conditions.

The hotel has both Western and Japanese restaurants. Western restaurant offers breakfast, lunch and dinner and Japanese restaurant offers lunch and dinner.
