Introduction to Tokushima, Japan
As Tokushima is the main transport hub in eastern Shikoku, Tokushima hotels are incredibly popular with tourists, who use them as a base for exploring other cities around Shikoku, the four part island Tokushima is located on. Tokushima has its own airport which receives direct flights from big Japanese cities such as Tokyo, Fukuoka and Sapporo. Although Tokushima is mostly used as a base for taking trips around the island, it isn’t without its own tourist attractions, with many visitors making sure they have time to complete the 88 Temple Pilgrimage as well as visit the local castle and the Awa Jurobe Yashiki museum, where traditional puppet shows can be watched between bouts of learning about the area’s history. Tokushima hotels are available most of the year round but should be booked online in advance. Should you ever tire of the area or run out of things to do, you can easily plan trips across the island and head west to Matsuyama.other spellings: tokuchimahotels, tokuchima otel, tokuchima hotell, tokuchima hote, tokuchima hotes
