Introduction to Sapporo - Susukino
Sapporo is the biggest city and a popular tourist destination on Japan’s Hokkaido Island. The Susukino district is in the centre of the city and is its entertainment hub and the location of many hotels in Sapporo. The city is famed for its annual Snow Festival, tasty White Lovers biscuits and Sapporo Beer. Attractions in the city include the Sapporo Gardens, home to a popular beer garden and the city’s beer museum, Migishi Kotaro Art Museum and Odori Park. The latter park is a few minutes’ walk and hosts events such as the Snow Festival and the Lilac Festival. Hosui Susukino Subway Station is near to the park and convenient for visitors wishing to travel to other parts of the city. In Susukino there are lots of bars, nightclubs and eateries.
