Introduction to Nara, Japan
There are many hotels in Nara to choose from as it is a popular place to visit due to its stature of being an ancient capital city, containing many historical temples and attractions. Budget accommodation ideal for backpackers can be found throughout the city, with many located in areas such as Mochiidono Street. This area of the city is abundant with local food stalls, small family run shops and bars. Located on Sano Avenue are a wide range of mid-range Nara hotels, these tend to have good facilities within such as internet access and a range of private rooms with private bathrooms. Attractions are easily accessed throughout the city such as The Suzaku Gate, Yakushi-ji which is a temple and Isui-en Garden.
