Introduction to Miyazaki - City Centre
The city of Miyazaki is the capital of Miyazaki Prefecture on Kyushu Island in Japan.

The city is famous for having the largest indoor water park in the world.

The park is, in fact, a huge ocean dome and there is a 100-foot long replica beach complete with sand and palm trees inside.

It is possible to surf on the break in the dome as it has artificial waves that wash up on the sand.

Other water sport activities are available, too.

The city centre is an ideal area to stay in as it has excellent Miyazaki City Centre hotels.

There are also transport links to all the city's main attractions.

In the city centre, visitors can visit the Miyazaki-jingu, which is a shrine to Japan's first emperor, Jinmu.

The shrine is approximately 600 years old and the grounds surrounding it are very beautiful, especially in spring when the wisteria trees are in bloom.9
