Matsui Honkan Ryokan Hotel - Kyoto

The Matsui Honkan Ryokan Hotel, Kyoto, is a charming little residence located in Karasuma Oike in the city centre. The building’s interior is designed in traditional regional style and there is a small restaurant which serves Japanese breakfasts and dinners. Guests can relax in communal rooms which feature ground level chairs and low tables. There is also a spa area, a picturesque little garden and a shop in the lobby. The rooms are cozy and come modern amenities such as plasma screen TVs. Kyoto is renowned for having a wide range of tourist attractions. The stunning Golden Pavillion of Kinkaku ji sits beautifully on a lake and is less than 10kms from the building, while the Imperial Palace is around 20 minutes away by foot.
