Introduction to Iwate, Japan
The prefecture of Iwate is located on the main island of Honshu in Japan in the northeast area of Tohoku. There is a good selection of hotels in Iwate, with most being situated in the centre of town near the university, which is a great place to stay if you're looking for a convenient location near plenty of restaurants, nightclubs, bars and shops. The JR Morioka Station provides a fun and convenient gateway for exploring the cities surrounding Iwate.
