Introduction to Hokkaido, Japan
One of Japans four islands in Japan is Hokkaido which is situated at the northern end of Japan. The island does not attract as many visitors as the other parts of the country do, however there are still many Hokkaido hotels to choose from, as many people travel to the city for business purposes and those that are coming to the island to sightsee opt for Hokkaido over other cities for its unique blend of urban life and untouched surroundings. The northern bay of the island is lined with several luxury Hokkaido hotels which are 20 minutes’ drive from the nearest airport named Hakodate. In the months of July and August when the ski season ends, many tourists head to Hadoke which is towards the south of the island. Hotels in Hokkaido get very busy at this time of year and accommodations such as ski lodges can book up fast.
