De Yama Hotel Hakone - Hakone

This is one of the oldest resort hotels in Japan and it use to be a country house of an old Japanese baron. This hotel has also large rose and azalea gardens. Guest may be able to enjoy a scenic Mount Fuji view from the gardens, some rooms and observatory when the weather is fine especially in winter. Outdoor public bath is also available.

All room are large and facing Lake Ashi. The room is decorated in chic style with wooden furniture. The bathroom is medium size.

There is a French restaurant on the ground floor with wide-opened windows facing the lake Ashi. In summer, the hotel provides some seats on the outside terrace , where fresh gentle breeze blows from the lake. There is a lounge on the ground floor offering coffee, cakes and cocktails in front of the fireplace.

It is small with some sitting space and wooden floor.

It is a 4-storey white building, which looks like a European guest house.
