Introduction to Aomori, Japan
Japan’s Aomori, which is situated on Mutsu Bay, is the capital of the prefecture of the same name. The city isn't famous for its attractions yet there are a number of places of interest. The best views of the city can be had from Aspam Center’s observation deck while Aomori Bay Bridge, a tourist attraction in its own right, also offers nice harbour vistas. Perhaps the best time to visit the city is in August, when the fire festival known as Nebuta takes place. This event is one of Japan’s biggest of its kind. Museum buffs will want to stop at Nebutanosato, covering the culture of the city, and Aomori Prefectural Museum, a history museum. For relief from sightseeing, Asamushi Onsen is a hot spring resort just out of town where guests can soak themselves in naturally hot water outdoors and even stay overnight in Aomori hotels. Visitors travelling with kids may like to attend one of the dolphin shows at the Asamushi Aquarium.other spellings: aomorihotels, aomari otel, aomari hotell, aomari hote, aomari hotes
