Venice Travel Guide - Airport
The terminal building is spread over three floors, the ground floor is for arrivals, the first floor for departures and the top floor has a number of VIP lounges as well as a business centre.
As you would expect of a significant airport, there are good facilities for travellers with all the usual services such as a post office and bank, money exchange booths and cash machines. There are a range of different food and drink outlets with cafes, restaurants and fast food options as well as a number of typical airport shops.
Of course there are also the conventional taxi options and yellow taxis can be hired outside the arrivals hall of the terminal building. It takes about one hour to reach the city by road and if you are driving with a hire car you should take the A4 and will find the route is well signposted.
Parking: Venice Marco Polo airport has plenty of parking options with both short-term and long-term car parks. There are multi-storey car parks located in front of the terminal building, and an open air car park just behind that. There are also short-term car parks and a pick up and drop off area. There is a long stay car park slightly further away that is served by a shuttle bus to and from the terminal building.
