Milan Travel Guide
Malpensa Airport features two terminals, handling more than 20 million passengers each year and is serviced by most major airlines. Terminal 1 handles most flights, being the airport’s main terminal and Terminal 2 is used mainly for charters.
There’s a shuttle bus connecting the two terminal buildings. Malpensa Airport offers a good range of facilities, including several banks and currency exchange counters, ATMs, quality shops, bars, cafes and restaurants.

Taxis are faster, although they are quite costly. If you’re driving, take the A8 south-east into the city. From Linate Airport, STAM buses connect the airport with Piazza Luigi di Savoia, which is quite near Stazione Central and local buses provide services to Piazza San Babila. Taxis from Linate Airport are significantly less expensive than from Malpensa.
Parking: Malpensa Airport features 9,000 parking spaces in parking facilities and uncovered sites: valet parking is available for passengers in a rush and designated spaces for handicapped travellers are also available. An uncovered short-term parking site is located near Terminal 1, offering the best rates for short-term stays, with hourly parking available.
