Florence Travel Guide

Weather

Weather in Florence
The high season is the July and August period, when the temperatures are at their hottest and the crowds the largest. You can expect temperatures that regularly exceed 30°C during this time, but very little rainfall. Florence’s low season, from November through February, brings unpredictable weather and few visitors.
Days can be fairly mild, although rainfall can also be heavy and accompanied by heavy gusts of wind. Early in the winter, November and December, it can be surprisingly pleasant, with crisp air, sunny days and shorter queues at the attractions.
