The city of Verona is one of Italy’s premier tourist cities, with great artistic heritage and architecture. Verona Airport is three kilometres from the centre and staying here allows visitors convenient access to city sites such as Piazza dei Signori, Castelvecchio Bridge, Verona Roman Arena, Castelvecchio Museum and the San Zeno Maggiore Basilica. It is possible to stay near the airport, adjacent to the junction of the A22 and A4 motorways, which are the routes for the Alps, Lake Garda, Bologna and Venice. Peschiera del Garda, on the south shore of the lake, is 15kms along the A4.
