Introduction to Verona - Affi
Verona Affi is located in northern Italy, roughly 120kms west of the city of Venice. Affi is located just a few kilometers east of the famous Lago di Garda (Garda Lake). This is a very popular tourist destination, especially during the summer months. Affi hotels are scattered around the town, some in the centre, some on the outskirts on Via Pozzo dell'Amore. The main landmark in the town is the Parrocchia San Pietro Church, off the Via Costabella. The main mall in town is the Grand'Affi Shopping Center. Those travelling with children should not miss a day at Gardaland amusement park and Caneva World Aqua Paradise, both of which are located about 10kms outside of the town centre. Monte Moscal is the main mountain in Affi and it is well worth a hike up to the top; along the way up are several religious shrines. From the summit, visitors can enjoy great views all the way to the Garda Lake.
