Introduction to Venice - Cannaregio Est
Whether seen as a marvel of engineering, a jewel of Venetian history or simply as an extremely romantic and moving city of art, culture and above all else, local spirit, this great city of canals is easily among the world’s greatest holiday destinations. Not only is there little in the way of vehicular traffic to spoil the relaxation, but the city is packed with great architecture, fine historical sites, immense artistic treasures and exciting events.
