Introduction to Turin - Borgaro
Borgaro is a municipal district of Turin, in northwest Italy. It is situated two kilometres from Turin Caselle Airport and around 10kms from the city centre. The airport is one of the key access points for this region of the Alps and winter ski resorts such as Valle di Susa. Borgaro hotels provide a convenient overnight rest stop for skiers and are a good base for those visiting Turin itself. The district's Borgaro Torinese Station is on the railway line that links the airport to the city centre, and there are frequent services in both directions. The A55 motorway skirts the south of the district. Borgaro's attractions are Europa Square, the 19th century Town Hall and the Church of the Assumption. The square has a contemporary water clock that entrances visitors. Ristorantes in town serve traditional fare including pizza and pasta, and nectar-like wines. La Mandria, a regional park, abuts the district and features the extravagant hunting lodge of Vittorio Emanuele II and a natural environment packed with flora and fauna. The park can be explored by hiking along trails, bicycle or horse and cart. other spellings: borgaro hotels, otelin bogaro, borgaro hotell, borguro hote, borgaru hotes
