Situated within the province of Cosenza, in the southern region of Calabria, Italy, the town of Trebisacce is a small but important settlement for the area. It is only home to about 9,000 people, but tourists visit the town on a regular basis. It is found on the coastline, overlooking the Ionian Sea. In general, there are two main ways for visitors to reach the town - by car or by train. The town sits on the E90, one of the most important highways connecting with the southern region of Italy. A railway line which travels through the southern region of Italy ventures along the coastline of the town. There isn't much in the way of tourist sites in the town, but visitors can still enjoy a few days lazing upon the long stretch of sand that fringes Trebisacce. Restaurants, cafes, supermarkets, car rental, a medical centre and hotels in Trebisacce are just some of the civic services located within the township.
