Introduction to Stresa - Outskirts
Stresa is a commune in the far northern Italian region of Piedmont, and contains a small but lively population of about 5,000 people. The town has long been regarded as a popular tourist destination for the region, as it sits upon the majestic Lake Maggiore. Actually, tourism is one of the main sources of income for the town, and has been since the beginning of the 20th century. Stresa hotels are located around the coastline of the lake, in the outskirts of the city, giving magnificent views of the lake and surrounding area. There are a number of interesting landmarks worth visiting in the outskirts of the township. Some of Italy's most amazing villas can be spotted along the lakeshore, just 10 to 15 minutes' drive from Stresa's main districts. The most famous is Villa Pallavicino, which has been turned into a zoo. While visiting Stresa's outskirts, tourists should not miss the chance to explore the lake, where boating is available. other spellings: stresahotels, stresar otel, stresa hotell, hote stesa, stresa hotle, stresa hotes
