Located on the Italian Riviera in the north-western part of Italy, Sanremo is probably best known now as a tourist destination with two ports, Porto Sole and Port Vecchio, with various cultural events year round. The hotels in Sanremo can be quite luxurious due to its location but there are some Sanremo hotels that cater for the visitor with a lower budget.
