Introduction to Riccione - Alba
Riccione, Italy, has been one of the nation's most popular holiday resorts for over a century. Even former Italian dictator Benito Mussolini built a summer villa here in 1934, and his former summer home has now been refurbished to provide visitors with all the information they need about this area known as the Adriatic Riviera. Visitors seeking quiet accommodations within easy walking distance of Riccione's vibrant city centre should stay at one of the Alba hotels, most of which are situated along the scenic promenade just steps from the beach. Alba, situated directly northeast of Riccione's city centre, is one of the four zones in the city. This district is also near the Marano Beach area where the city's lively nightclub scene begins. Even more nightclubs await visitors along the street of Viale Dante, but the street's starting point is also the entrance to Alba Gardens, where shops and authentic Italian restaurants coexist with fragrant gardens and lush hills. Some of these restaurants are aperitivo bars which only open at late afternoon, serving several free appetizers to anyone who purchases drinks. other spellings: albahotels, alba otel, alba hotell, alba hote, allba hotes
