Introduction to Pistoia, Italy
Tuscany is one of the most attractive regions of Italy, but while Pistoia is one of the favourite cities for locals, it is something of a backwater for international visitors. The Piazza del Doumo The Dome Square is very much central to everything that happens in Pistoia. The medieval Piazza boasts seven museums within 100 metres of the square. A UNESCO World heritage Site, the area around the Piazza del Doumo is the location for some very good Pistoia hotels.
