Introduction to Pescara - Beach
Mount Gran Sasso and the Majella Massif stand guard over this bustling seaside resort on western Italy's Trabocchi coast. This 10km stretch of coastline is named after the unique wooden fishing vessels which appear suspended over the blue Adriatic waters. The most historic Pescara Beach hotels have overlooked these waters for over a century and many establishments feature their own intimate family restaurants and private beaches. The beach itself extends from Montesilvano to Francavilla al Mare and boasts a beautiful promenade that is ideal for people-watching or strolling. The specialities served at most promenade restaurants are spicy seafood dishes cooked with garlic and hot peppers. Even cheaper meals can be had at any of the tiny beach huts owned by local fishermen who cook up their daily catches. The summer parties at the promenade nightclubs spill onto the beach, especially during the annual Pescara Jazz festival held here each July. The beach also acts as a gateway to the rugged Abruzzo region's national parks and traditional towns.other spellings: pescarahotels bech, otel bech pascara, pescara hote bech, pesgara hotell beach
