By car from either north or south, take the A3 Napoli-Salerno motorway, following the directions for the Penisola Sorrentina until the exit for Castellammare di Stabia. Then follow state highway SS 145. They will pass through the town of Vico Equense, and will find Meta di Sorrento. Once they reach the church of La Madonna Del Lauro, take the first right and follow street signs to the beach (spiaggia). |By train from anywhere, arrive at the Naples Piazza Garibaldi train station. From here, take the Circumvesuviana train to Sorrento and get off at Meta. The journey takes about 1 hour (they run every 20 min). From the Meta train station, take the first Circumvesuviana line A bus to the beach or call the hotel for shuttle service.
