Introduction to Florence - Lungarno Tempio
Florence is one of the most endearing cities in the world. This is where precious Renaissance architecture is met with art museums, restaurants and cafes, and other alluring attractions that draw in tourists from across the world. Lungarno Tempio is a roadway that stretches along the north bank of the Arno River, just to the east of the historical centre. It is close to many wonderful landmarks, making Lungarno Tempio hotels popular with tourists who don’t want to stay right in the thick of things. About one kilometre to the west of the roadway lies several of the city’s key places to visit including the National Library, which boasts an interesting facade and internal design. Just a few hundred metres west of the library is the Galileo Museum, housing beautifully-made scientific instruments, and across the river is the popular Rodolfo Siviero House Museum, dedicated to the so-called James Bond of the art work.
