Located well in the 'foot' of Italy's southern 'boot', the town of Falerna sits close to Calabria's western coast, in the province of Catanzaro. The town consists of two sections. The older part of the town sits up the cliffs overlooking the sea. The younger, Falerna Marina, is located on the sea, where it offers an attractive beach.
