Introduction to Cremona, Italy
Cremona is a charming city on the Po River in the northern Italian region of Lombardy. Cremona is about 80kms south-east of Milan. The city is centred on the Cremona Cathedral and the Piazza Roma. There are a few Cremona hotels in the vicinity of these locations. The hotels in Cremona's centre are rated two, three and four star and are supplemented by several bed and breakfasts. Attractions in Cremona are the enchanting cathedral with its attached baptistery, numerous other religious buildings, palaces and museums. The city’s landmark is Cremona Cathedral's bell tower, the Torrazzo. One of Cremona's famous sons, the violin craftsman Antonio Stradivari, has a museum dedicated to him. Cremona still has craftsmen making good quality musical instruments. Cremona has regular classical concerts and music festivals. A further selection of Cremona hotels is spread around the outside of the town. In the surrounding countryside there are resorts and self catering options. Cremona is close to the A21 motorway. Close to the motorway exits is a more modern selection of Cremona hotels.other spellings: cremonahotels, cemona otel, cremona hotell, hote cremona, cremona hotes
