Attractions in Cremona are the enchanting cathedral with its attached baptistery, numerous other religious buildings, palaces and museums. The city’s landmark is Cremona Cathedral’s bell tower, the Torrazzo. One of Cremona’s famous sons, the violin craftsman Antonio Stradivari, has a museum dedicated to him. Cremona still has craftsmen making good quality musical instruments. Cremona has regular classical concerts and music festivals. A further selection of Cremona hotels is spread around the outside of the town. In the surrounding countryside there are resorts and self catering options. Cremona is close to the A21 motorway.
