Introduction to Catania - Capomulini
Travellers in search of that classic Sicilian fishing village should make a point of finding Capomulini. The main city of Catania is nearby, so most visitors make daytrips to the village or just drive over for lunch on the waterfront. The only access to Capomulini is by a narrow, winding road that runs off the SS114 coastal road to the sea. There's a tangible sense of seclusion here, making it the perfect destination for an afternoon away from Catania. A handful of houses, a few restaurants and a picturesque little harbour are all you'll find in this fishing village. There is a small stretch of beach hemmed in by giant lava boulders to play around on, and the village itself can be explored in a half hour. There are no Capomulini hotels directly in the seaside part of the village, but visitors will find a couple of nice options a few minutes drive along the narrow road providing access to the town. other spellings: capomulin otel, capomuliny hotell, capomulni hote, capomullini hotles, capomulini hotle
